Hello, my name is Alina and I am a qualified BCPC and BACP registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor.
I believe that who we are today is shaped by our life experiences, relationships and the stories we carry within us. These experiences affect not just our minds but how we feel physically, emotionally and spiritually. Most importantly, they influence how we see ourselves and our worth in the world. Early trauma, deep loneliness and isolation, struggling with negative self image, self trust and self worth are experiences I relate to. I also know that the journey of transformation is possible: from pain to healing, from dysfunctional relationships to healthy connections, from uncertainty to inner strength and wisdom.
Experience and Approach:
I have worked with several organisations such as Bath Spa University, Bright Start Bath and Keynsham , Southside Bath and as well as private practice clients. My personal experience across diverse cultures as a person from an ethnic minority, facilitates my understanding and commitment to helping others feel seen, heard, and understood.
When you come to therapy with me, you will find a warm, safe space where you can be completely yourself. My therapeutic approach is both compassionate and dynamic, humanistic , psychodynamic and integrative, encouraging you to break through obstacles in order to facilitate meaningful change. I work with childhood/ trauma, emotional and physical abuse, neglect, experience of emotionally immature or narcissistic parents as well as depression , anxiety , stress, perfectionism, relationship issues.
Sessions and Pricing:
I offer both face-to-face sessions ( Bath and Bristol ) and online from £50 per 60-min, short or longer-term. I also offer concession sessions at £30/ session (Bath and on line only) depending on availability.
